I love January! I enjoy having a clean slate to work on after the holidays, all the possibilities. I really like cleaning closets and organizing. I also find it’s a great time of the year to enjoy being inside, working on new projects and tweaking things that may need a bit of change. I have not done much yet but I did manage get all my holiday decorations finally put away. A small project that I have wanted to tackle for a while is the plate wall in my dining room. I finally rearranged a couple of plates and added a new one that I picked up over the summer. Sometimes it’s the small changes that give the most satisfaction. Now every time I walk in the dining room I enjoy the wall, instead of saying I need to change that. Do you have any small things around the house that drive you batty?
This project took 15 minutes to change and I am content, at least for now.

What a great idea. I never thought to mix plates with photos. This may have just solved my plate wall crisis.
